"We all know that car accidents can
happen but always unexpected and we are never prepared for them. We take advice

In July 1998, Adam Prevost, then 17, was severely injured when he
was a passenger in a motor vehicle accident. The vehicle left the roadway on
the outskirts of Enderby, rolled down an embankment, and Adam was ejected. The
driver of the car, also a minor, had been drinking alcohol at a party they left
minutes before. At summary trial a Supreme court Judge found for the first time
in Canada that the social host was in part liable for Adam's injuries.
